One-quarter of the harvest is whole-cluster fermented and ages in entirely used casks, producing a wine of lovely density and a dark plummy fruit, with a pleasant floral perfume, silky tannins and great finesse. This is from a super 0.18ha parcel at the foot of Bonnes-Mares planted in 1960, where the rows run north-south, perpendicular to the slope.
