This is 0.23ha of a parcel at the top of the slope, under the trees, which is planted to Chardonnay. The grapes are lightly crushed and fermented in a vertical press, before fermenting in cask without settling (10% new). The wine opens slowly to reveal a ripe peardrop fruit character, with shadings of spice and beeswax on the nose, plus a balanced texture, with plenty of substance balanced by just enough acidity.
