From a 0.28ha, biodynamically farmed, parcel at the foot of the slope, where a portion has recently been replanted in a spiral configuration. Lafarge blends the old and new vines to produce this seductive Caillerets, with rich, cassis-scented fruit, marked minerality and a savoury, saline character on the nose. It is a bit firmer than much of the production and should open with time to show its rich, expressive character.
