Meyer lemon squeezed into a bowl of sliced apple and pear. Medium-bodied and bouncy, with pleasing acid tension and a saline streak running through to a mid-length finish. Lively and refreshing. Nicolas Perrault, whose family has long worked from nearby Dezize, sources fruit from La Fussière, the appellation's largest premier cru, rising to 400m beneath the cliff on stony scree over marl.
