Winemaker Anne has always felt that the wine from the Croix Blanche, a village lieu-dit that lies just across the road from Les Grand Epenots, was distinctive and for many years decided to bottle it separately from her other village Pommard. The richly perfumed 2022 Croix Blanche, always one of my favorites in her line-up, delivers a glossy elegance, while still retaining the power of Pommard.
