Pierre Vincent has done an impressive job with his 2024 Closeaux, delivering ripe blackberry fruit with an edge of bramble, herbs and earth. The flavours continue on the palate with a notably sweet character to the fruit, well-managed tannins and good length for the vintage. He has fermented the grapes as 100% whole bunches, but there is no hint of green here. The grapes are from a 0.40ha parcel of northeast-facing vines on the Meursault side of the village.
