Le Chapitre is an ancient vineyard that formerly belonged to the Canons of the Autun Cathedral.  Located in the village of Chenôve, it was once held in high regard, but was classified only as regional level until 2019, when it was promoted to village level as Marsannay le Chapitre.  In the hands of Pataille it produces a wine of great complexity and an impressive mineral depth.  There are notes of citrus, ripe apricot and quince, coloured with floral and mineral notes.  The structure is lively and fresh, with plenty of extract balancing firm acidity that guarantees a long, lingering finish.
