Bursting with blueberry fruit coloured with hints of earth and bramble. There is a bit of reduction that will dissipate at bottling, and a silky, approachable texture that lacks the imposingly tannic structure of the Pataille wine from Montagne. The grapes are from a 0.83ha parcel of vines at the base of the slope, facing east; they were entirely fermented as whole clusters, and the wine has yet to be racked. This should be accessible on release and suitable for mid-term ageing.
