A profoundly mineral nose, although it is not lacking in fruit expression, with a suggestion of lime peel, nectarine and passion fruit. There is a hint of smoke and some waxy notes with time in the glass, and a firm, solid texture on the palate balanced by crisp acidity, which draws it to a pleasant finish. The wine is showing well, mature and open, but it will last another decade at a minimum. Lovely wine.
