Soft lemon and stone notes on the nose alongside a gorgeous zesty lime aroma. On the palate it has juicy acidity with pear and yellow plum flavours. This has tension and energy, a lovely roundness with complexity and a lively freshness that sustains through to the long finish. An entry-level wine that 'over delivers' says Laurent Delaunay, showcasing knowledge of Burgundy's terroir and the art of blending.  Made from grapes sourced all over the region - bringing Côte d’Or elegance (young-vine Meursault, grapes from the plain between Pommard and Volnay and a little from Auxey-Duresses), Mâconnais grapes adding ripeness and richness with Yonne grapes giving freshness and minerality. 50% of the blend fermented and aged in barrels, almost no new oak, 50% in tanks. Nine months ageing before being bottled.
