The Delaunay family has set apart the fruit from the Les Rouards lieu-dit in VillarsFontaine to produce this wine with a noticeably deeper colour and a riper, darker mulberry fruit than their other offerings from the Hautes Côtes. Aged in 30% new casks for a year to produce medium body, firm tannins, and admirable density that are well balanced by a lively freshness.
