Natural Cork

This parcel of nearly 0.3ha was purchased in 2007 and immediately pulled up and replanted, so the first vintage on its own was 2018 – before that it was blended into the Bourgogne Rouge. It is fermented in 100% new, small oak casks, giving the wine a sheen of sweet oak spice over the bright, forward cherry fruit. The wine is not overly tannic, but still shows the slightly rustic typicity of Pommard.
