Produced from a single parcel lying down-slope from Clos de la Roche, running from Faconnières to Les Chenevery. The fruit is mostly destemmed and slowly fermented prior to ageing in cask (20% new). The wine opens slowly to show a seductive, dark fruit character, lots of mineral and smoke nuance, plus a velvety richness on the palate that is absolutely delightful.
