Fresh and balanced, featuring a succulent gooseberry and greengage plum fruit aroma with a floral cast and lovely purity. The texture is vibrant without being strident, with fresh acidity, moderate weight and an elegance that ensures it would stand out in any tasting. The grapes are grown in the Côte Chalonnaise just outside of Montagny; they are crushed and pressed before fermentation on native yeasts in older casks and the wine aged for 12 months. Should age gracefully.
