Known for their Sonoma Pinot Noir, Kosta Browne has been making wines in Burgundy since the 2020 vintage. Made in a historic cellar in Beaune and sourced from a selection of parcels in the Nuits-Saint Georges appellation. Showing aromatics of turned garden soils, dried rose petals and dried red berries. It’s a showcase of savoury complexity. The palate is a tad austere, wild alpine herbals, a ferrous minerality, struck iron and wild forest berries finishing with ample structure and a note of black tea leaf. Balances country rusticity with a delicate edge.
