Pretty aromas of cherry, briary fruit and warm spice are subtly framed by new oak. The palate has a supple attack and good freshness but, like its sibling Chorey Beaumonts from the other end of the Côte de Beaune, some firm, rather rustic tannins on the finish which will demand a bit of time in the cellar to resolve.
