Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru

Natural Cork

Unusually virile aromas for Charmes, forceful and dark-fruited. The palate has a sweet attack, but it's not a feminine expression of Charmes, as it's muscular and dense, indeed possibly a bit too extracted and tannic. It's not yet clear how well those tannins will integrate, but this is clearly not a wine to be broached for some time.
