Lovely ripe apple fruit aromas and hints of orange blossom and spice. Although the texture is supple and plump, there is enough lively acidity to bring the wine to a lingering, dynamic finish that recalls the more prestigious appellations of the Côte de Beaune. The purchased must is fermented in cask (20% new), and although the wine is drinking well now, it has the structure for mid-term ageing.
