The aromas are gorgeous, with spicy, supremely expressive sandalwood-scented red fruit. The texture is velvety, dense and very sensuous, with a beautiful, lingering finish. Pacalet sources the fruit from Epenots and Charmots. He remarked that these vines suffered in 2020 from the heat: typically, Pacalet makes three barrels from each, but this year there are three in total, vinified exclusively as whole bunches.
