Jérôme Coessens keeps a perpetual cuve from the single vineyard Largillier in Ville-sur-Arce, and Exogyre is a bottling of this tank alone. Including wines from 2006 to 2020, it's a surprisingly precise and bright rendition given the age of the wines, keeping the richly textured signature of this cuvée while bringing a sense of bay leaf and nectarine kernel maturity, too. There's a great deal of fleshy volume and presence, with detail of green almond, mandarin and dried tropical fruits all presented in clear, bright resolution with some of the herbal touches this cuvée often shows. An intriguing, layered Pinot Noir.
