Jérôme Coessens' single-vineyard Largillier was made famous by Guillaume Sélosse, although today it is only Jérôme that makes wine here. Although the 2020s are now being released, it is the 2019s to look out for while they are still available, including this release from the more clay-heavy part of the Largillier single vineyard. There's an intriguing green peppercorn spicy lift over pink grapefruit and Mirabelle and green pear fruit, full of stony presence and subtle creaminess. Vinous, quite singular in aromatics yet substantial and structured on the palate, it's a 100% Pinot Noir Champagne for the table.
