Luscious, explosive nose of cooked lemon, orange cream, honey and truffle, rich with sourdough notes and surprisingly refreshing for the vintage. The chewy lemon-rind ripeness of 2006 is here, but it's teased out into something charry, long and complex; this is a bit of a showstopper. A late-disgorged release, it demonstrates how much complexity and focus can emerge with extended lees ageing at Moët.
