Lovely aromas of deep roasted apricot and brown pastry, there's lots of maturity here with notes of dried pears, Seville orange and buttered toast. It's very expressive, with lots of bitter orange, and the palate is big, bright and detailed. There's a pleasant bitterness on the long finish, with lots of white pepper and a sunny Chardonnay character in there. Spicy stuff.
