In 2015 the slightly chewy, warm and bumptious character of Chouilly Chardonnay comes to fore in this bristling blanc de blancs of roasted grapefruit, dried apple and nutty honey, cut through with a touch of herbal bitterness. A vintage which derives its refreshment value from a dash of grip and punch rather than acid structure. This could do very well if left to settle for two years.
