An 'intense and generous' harvest according to cellar master Caroline Fiot, who presented a late-disgorged bottle which outshone a less pristine original release. Quite a deep honey gold now, this is turning deliciously caramelised with some smoky weight, barley sugar, lime cordial and tropical fruits all held in place with some flinty notes and pretty apricot and blossom. It’s quite a bold, rich style for sure, yet the freshness of recent disgorgement has helped rein this vintage in to yield something of delicious refinement.
