White pear and icing sugar, with just-ripe lemon and a lick of greenness pointing to this being picked on the earlier side of the vintage. With some cooked cream richness playing with the heat of the year it is a bustling, outgoing Extra Brut, rather than a narrow or delicate one, still in need of a little time to settle. Dosage 1.5g/L.
