This cuvée combines fruit from Veuve Fourny's home village of Vertus with Le Mesnil, Avize, Oger and Cramant with 50% reserve wine aged in oak for a deeper, spicier and more vinous expression than the other non-vintages here, with an appetising brown pastry, roasted apple tart character and a gentle honeyed maturity. Even with this, though, it carries the satin-soft mousse and delicate texture these wines all possess. Based on the 2020 vintage.
