Lifted red fruited aromatics spin out from the glass in a whirl of wild strawberry, red apple skin, cooked cherries and fennel seed. Sea spray, umami, liquorice, Sichuan pepper, red pepper and hot stones all take the stage. In the mouth it's crunchy and bursting with energy, with a vibrancy that's heart-stopping. It's built around freshness rather than weight. Bright cranberry and wild red-berry fruit race across the palate, carried by lively acidity. There is a lovely transparency to the fruit, allowing its purity to shine through, while the texture remains silky and inviting. Fresh, expressive and full of life. It drinks effortlessly now, but will continue to deepen and evolve over the next 10-15 years.
