Aromas of pot pourri, carnations, cedar and cherries. Expecting mellowness on the palate, yet this is still very youthful and not yet ready for drinking. Tuck it away in the cellar if you want it to mellow out. Right now this is all sloes and elderberries, serious foraged fruit, firm mouthcoating tannins and dark slatey minerality. Structured and youthful, and surprisingly different to the other reds and atypical of Provence rosé. Rough blue-velvet textured tannins.
