Deep gold in the glass. As the acrobat on the label suggests, this is Petit Manseng harvested at the late autumn edge of overripeness (October 21) and then walked to the dry side of the line. Intense and exotic on the nose: citrus, passion fruit, mango and caramelised pineapple, with warm spice woven through. The palate offers profound depth and concentration yet striking buoyancy, the saline, acidic spine lifting rather than anchoring everything. Long, complex finish.
