Natural Cork

Made from organic and biodynamically farmed Syrah, Carignan and Grenache on schist, hence the name, this wine has a cherry and truffle-laced nose. On the palate it is sumptuous and rounded with deep and heady blackcurrant and blackberry flavours alongside wet-stone and cooling liquorice. The texture is smooth and supple but I feel the fruit needs a little longer to settle and integrate fully. It's no doubt tasty, with good acidity, but I think it will be better in a few years.
