A pronounced nose with toasty aromas, smells honeyed with elements of almonds, lemons, wood spice and brioche. This is very dry and clean on the palate, refreshing but with a density and structure that takes it just out of the light and easy drinking category into something more serious. It needs another year at least to settle and integrate as the wood spice, toast flavours are quite present but equally it could be drunk now if paired with soft, creamy, cheesy food.
