A lovely rich deep red colour in the glass with a sumptuous texture to match. This has ripe black fruit flavours, softly gripping tannins but juicy throughout. The tongue tingles with paprika, liquorice spice and blackcurrant leaf. Overall a nice balance of fruit density and freshness with a mineral kick at the end. Serve alongside roast red meat or creamy cheeses.
