Spicy and herby fruit on the nose, this is wild and expressive. It's also a little gamey, and the tannins are quite chewy, with some sweet spice on the finish. The the fruit here is rounder and riper, yet falls just a little short on the finish. From clay-limestone soils from the mountainous inland part of the appellation.
