Open and full of smoky oak spice, pain d'épices, cumin, clove and coriander. Ripe and plummy fruit dominate the palate, which is enrobed in silky tannins. Notes of bitter chocolate and dried herbs lace the finish. This needs a lot of time before approaching, but will always be a behemoth. Aged for 12 months in oak.
