Very pale onion skin colour, with aromas that burst from the glass in a flamboyant array of candied berries and grapefruit. The flavours lean into sweet candied berry fruit, icing sugar, sugared almonds and Parma violets. Lots of fuzzy peach and apricot too, and a creamy mouthfeel, hitting those strawberries and cream vibes. The acidity is mid-range, so it feels full and quite weighty, although a little floral/herbal bitter edge on the finish brings much needed freshness. Simple and tasty without requiring too much thought.
