A wonderfully extravagant and detailed nose, rich, ripe and so perfumed with roses and violets. The palate is similarly flavoured, floral elements playing on the cherry and blackcurrant fruits, delicate and seductive, with coffee, liquorice and leather adding complexity and spice. Soft tannins, full body and long length. This is clearly a powerful wine with a strong character. Can be drunk now though will probably be even better in a few years. Available for around 24 euros.
