Savoury elements on the nose, mushrooms and truffles, with cherries and blackcurrants. The palate is silky smooth, such a lovely texture with a real richness and density of flavour - ripe cherries, blackcurrant jam, stewed blueberries and prunes with liquorice and soft oak spice. Elegant, juicy and heady. I love it. A blend of Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault from some of the oldest vines of the estate. Aged in egg and demi-muids.
