Apples and pears, lemons and a smoky flinty lick. There's lots of power and intensity in the mouth, a very subtle creaminess, but it's really integrated into the wine as a whole. This is a single parcel Chardonnay cuvée, from clay limestone soils, and matured in wood for eight months on fine lees.
