Domaine Bardi d'Alquier, Les Vignes du Puits, Faugères, 2025

A well that was discovered next to the Grenache Blanc parcel has inspired the name of this cuvée. Roussanne and Marsanne make up the rest of the blend. It's immediately pretty, with delicate florals and touches of juniper. There's some weight to the palate from working the lees, yet it maintains this beautiful tension and sensation of rocks and stones. The silky texture is followed by a rush and buzz of tingly freshness. Very fine indeed.
