Despite its aromatic shyness, there's promise here of good things to come. At present it's leaning into its notes of crushed rocks, and the fruit is bubbling away in the background. Red cherries and berries and a bite of red apple skin, before a rumble of liquorice and comes in. It's an intense wine, and the structure is chewy. There's a long life ahead, best wait to drink it.
