Matured in demi-muids, the oak influence is subtle, adding texture and breadth rather than overt oakiness. The palate is meltingly supple, gourmand and deeply satisfying, combining generosity with freshness. I really like this. It has the sort of effortless charm that makes a bottle disappear rather quickly around the dinner table with friends.
