Rich and heady, perfumed apricot, honeysuckle and vanilla, and the scent you get when brushing past a jasmine bush at dusk. There's a bit of coconut, a dusting of warm spice and bitter orange rind too. In the mouth its plump and luscious, creamy and sumptuous. Being aged in new French oak, you can sense the roundness and rich, toasty complexity it has imparted on the wine. This should soften with time and this is likely to age well into the medium term. There's some bitter lemon freshness on this finish.
