Wild strawberries and spicy cherry notes on the nose. The palate is succulent and enveloping, the tannins coating the mouth and providing support to the dark fruit and rich garrigue flavours. It's juicy and offers a hit of acidity and liveliness but the tannins dominate from the mid-palate onwards and the fruit gets a bit lost. No doubt needs more time to settle and integrate. Available for around 15 euros.
