A deep, tangy gold colour, with quiet scents of orchard fruit, cinders and forest floor. It's less pristine than some when first poured, but not unattractive, and the fact that it clears in the glass suggests decanting would be a good idea. On the palate the wine has refined acidity and impressive aromatic nuance around a core of long, dry apricot fruit.
