A deep nose of black cherries, liquorice and rose petals. The fruit on the palate is plush and supple, well-textured with a juicy, lifted core and slightly grippy tannins. The oak spice makes itself known around the edges and towards the back of the throat - giving warmth and a suggestion that this needs a little longer to soften and the for alcohol to integrate. The 2016 is currently available for around £19.
