A new addition to Sainsbury's Discovery Collection for autumn 2022, this appealing red shows what great value can be found in the Languedoc appellation of Corbières. Mostly Syrah with 20% Grenache, grapes are grown on a rocky plateau in Lagrasse. There's a rustic edge to the black fruit aromas with hints of smoky bacon, spice and watermelon. Generous palate with a savoury character, well integrated tannins and peppery spice to balance the lush fruit. So much bang for your buck here!
