Attractive, complex notes of honey, orange peel, peach and apricot, with a lovely, silky texture and a long, delicate finish and enough freshness to prevent it being cloying. Enormous ageing potential. In 2018 there was plenty of rain over the winter and spring, allowing the vines to survive the hot and dry summer. Hand picked on 18 October, yielding just 5hl/ha and a mere 530 half bottles. Fermented and aged in new, 228-litre barrels for 10 months with complete malolactic fermentation. Bottled in July 2020.
