Domaine de Bablut has been owned by the Daviau family since 1546. Christophe Daviau and his son, Antoine, now run this 55ha organic estate on the western edge of the small town of Brissac. After studying at Bordeaux, Christophe spent time working in Australia, at a time when it was unusual for Loire producers to have experience outside France, and took over at Bablut in 1989. 

Le Petit Princé 2017 comes from a parcel of 35-year-old vines that were picked by hand with a yield of 35 hl/ha. It sees no wood and has attractive citric aromas with a soft fine texture, and refreshing acidity in its long finish. It has the potential to age for at least 15 years.
