Fragrant red fruits typical of young Loire Cabernet Franc, leading to a seductive and soft palate with light tannins. This is a delicious wine to share and enjoy rather than analyse. However it may well keep for a surprising length of time, though it would be best to enjoy this young with the accent on its fruit. The nine-hectare domaine is based in Panzoult in the eastern part of the Chinon appellation. This comes from young vines on clay and sand. The grapes are picked by hand and are fermented and matured in concrete. The domaine is run by Nicolas and his brother Sylvain – they both had wide experience making wine in various parts of the world before returning to the family domaine.
